Video: Beirut Joins The National for “Fake Empire”

At a music festival in St. Gallen, Switzerland earlier this month, the National invited friends from Beirut onstage during their headlining set for a seamless, understated team-up on Boxer single “Fake Empire.” Watch a clip from the set’s official webcast above as Zach Condon’s theatrical voice melds beautifully with Matt Berninger’s solemn baritone.
